Outbound Sales Representative (Part Time)

Join a highly motivated team driving growth at an exciting SaaS startup in downtown Toronto. OMX is seeking a a part-time Outbound Sales Representative to join an existing team that is focused on business development and customer relations.

What you'll do

  • Achieve assigned sales and activity objectives
  • Communicate with outside leads to grow the sales funnel
  • Makes outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell subscriptions
  • Lead Generation
  • Maintains working knowledge of products and services sold and keeps current on industry developments by reading current news or attending workshops

  • Enthusiasm, energy and desire to grow with the business
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail to ensure that lead interactions are recorded and dealt with properly
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating directly and creating good relationships with potential customers
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment
  • Proven track record of success in driving new sales
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, busy environment

What we'd also love to see

  • The ability to use market research skills to improve sales prospects
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or Hubspot is an asset
  • Bilingual communication skills (French & English) would be considered an asset

Your ideal background

  • Post Secondary Education
  • 1+ years of B2B cold calling, sales or account management capacity

  • An ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Self-starter
